"Starting To See" shows the diversity of scope that Exuviae posesses. As a tribute to his wife, Brooks has put together a mini-album of sorts, focusing this time on his love for Shoegaze, Industrial and Beat-Driven electronica. Sparely used-vocal passages occasionally decorate the bass and drum-heavy structures, while highly experimental sections are fused together with more in-the-pocket loops and passages. The final form is a highly listenable, multi-mood inducing slab of rhythm, drone and deep low end.
