This is the third installment in Disturbed Earth's trilogy, "Amongst the Reeds".

In "Edge of Evening" we are treated to an eclectic and odd instrumenation that includes a young girl's voice (Dean's daughter Beth on the track liana), roulette wheel, water sprayed on hot concrete, fake insect/ bird sounds, tape looping techniques, guitars and pedal harmonium.

As always, Disturbed Earth delivers a sonic beam of ambient drone and layers of texture to the listener. Edge of Evening features excellent artwork by artist Peter Webb.
